This year’s Picnic in the Park has been expanded due to popular demand with three days worth of fun and entertainment!
New attractions to the event will include a Concert in the Park sponsored by JCSD Eastvale Parks & Recreation and carnival rides and games hosted by ERHS Climate Boosters.
The dates and times for the Picnic in the Park are:
Friday, June 27 — 5:00PM to 10:00 PM
Saturday June 28 — Noon to 10:00 PM
Sunday June 29 — Noon to 5:00 PM
Friday evening will start the event with a Concert in the Park hosted by JCSD Eastvale Parks & Recreation in addition there will be performances from local musicians and a preview of classes scheduled in the upcoming recreation brochure..
Come join the festivities down in the park basin on Saturday where activities like two bounce houses, a climb ’n slide, Velcro wall and water activities which include a giant water slide, and Mega Slip n Slide. And don’t forget to ride on the Independence Train!! During the day there will be picnic games with prizes and DJ entertainment for all to enjoy. Over 40 different vendor booths will be there with an assortment of different items to share with you. Lots of different food vendor will serve meals to appeal to all appetites, along with cotton candy, snow cones, ice cream & other yummy goodies!!
Saturday’s Picnic in the Park finale will begin after dark with a firework spectacular show choreographed to music which is sponsored by Supervisor John Tavaglione and JCSD.
The carnival rides and games will continue on Sunday from noon to 5:00 PM. Advanced ride tickets will be on sale prior to the event.
